Beaming is a method to smoothen surfaces. It can be done in many different ways, but because of the softness of aluminum less possibilities of beaming this material exist. By using glass pearls no damage can be done to the aluminum. For harder metals more options are possible. After beaming very tiny dents will be left on the metal, which are removed by polishing.
