Galvanizing is adding a layer of zinc using heat. It is done to avoid corrosion or giving the product a nice shine. Galvanizing can be done in two ways; thermal and electrolytic. We use the thermal galvanizing method.
Thermal galvanizing is dipping the product in a bath filled with fluid zinc. The thickness of the layer of zinc is dependent on the time the product is put in the bath. Before the product can be sunken into the bath, it needs thorough cleaning.
A galvanized tube is corrosion proof, and is therefore used often in the outside air. For example in fencing, lampposts and scaffolds. The galvanizing process is also used to protect crash barriers from corrosion. For all of these applications we can deliver galvanized tubes and pipes for the lowest prices.
To be able to deliver for the lowest prices for tubes, pipes and ducts our minimum order size is 100Mton. Our specialist check both the production and the final product so you can be sure that the product meets the quality standards.
